A:
6-12 Months Before Your Wedding:
  Announce your engagement.
  Pick a style for your wedding.
  Plan a budget.
  Meet with your officiant to set a date.
  Choose a reception location.
  Draw up a guest list.
  Select your bride's maid, maids of honor, best man, groomsmen, ushers and ring bearer. View their responsibilities.
  Decide on a color scheme for apparel, flowers and reception.
  Visit Sweetheart Manor and get measured for your tuxedo.
  Send out-of-town members of your wedding party gown and tuxedo information including  measurement forms if necessary.
  Contact Sweetheart Manor for the meal and wedding cake details.
  Visit with photographers and videographers.
» See florists and decide on boutonnieres for the gentlemen.
  Draw up and sign contracts if necessary.
4 Months Before Your Wedding:
  Order invitations, announcements and thank you cards.
  Plan the rehearsal dinner.
  Look for your new home or apartment, if moving.
  Sign up at bridal registries.
  Check out and hire transportation for your wedding day.
  Visit a travel agent to make your honeymoon plans.
2 Months Before Your Wedding:
  Book a hotel room or bridal suite for your wedding night.
  Address and mail wedding invitations.
  Get a physical exam and blood tests, if necessary.
  Shop for your rings.
  Choose gifts for your bride and the men in your wedding party.
  Take time out for a romantic evening with your bride or groom to be.
1 Month Before Your Wedding:
  Acquire your marriage license.
  Have the member of your wedding party go for their gown and tuxedo fittings; don't forget the fathers.
  Make sure your out-of-town attendants have sent you their measurement forms.
  Adjust insurance policies, bank accounts, utilities, etc.
  Get a change of address card from your post office if necessary.
1 Week Before Your Wedding:
  Pack for the honeymoon.
  Get cash and gratuities; issue checks to pay vendors.
  Enjoy your bachelorette or bachelor party and rehearsal dinner.
  Visit Sweetheart Manor with the other men in your wedding party for a final fitting and to pick up your formal attire.
  Give Sweetheart Manor a final head count.
  Present your bride or Groom to be with her/his special gift.
  Give your bride's maids and groomsmen their gifts at the rehearsal dinner.
The Big Day!
  Double check details: ring, ring bearer's pillow and garter.
  Make sure your formal attire looks perfect; gowns wrinkle free, hair tidy, ties and vests straight, cufflinks and studs worn properly, etc.
  Get to the church on time.
  Relax and enjoy your wedding.

 


Q: How do I order a tuxedo?
A:

"How do I go about renting a tuxedo?" is a question we hear quite often. It's a very simple process really, but one that most people may not be familiar with.
1. Choose Your Tuxedo - Stop by Sweetheart Manor and select the style and color of tuxedo just right for you and your occasion.
2. Choose Your Accessories - fullback vests, ties, shoes, shirts...
3. Order Your Tuxedo - Expect to have your measurements taken. Style advice and wedding planning advice is readily available.
4. Pick-Up Your Tuxedo - when you return to the Sweetheart Manor, you'll have the opportunity to try your tuxedo on for a final fitting.
5. Enjoy Your Event - we'll leave this part up to you!
6. Return Your Tuxedo - Sweetheart Manor will expect your tuxedo returned to us the next business day after your event. Inquire about our return policies.
